Everyone’s needs are different, so at least every 6 months you should visit us for a regular check up. Our specialist based on the condition of your mouth, teeth and gums will guide you. It’s recommended that children see their dentist at least once a year

Yes, after pursuing 5 year Under Graduation program (BDS) one qualifies as general dentist. A specialist after completion of BDS further undergoes an extensive 3 year post graduation program (MDS) in a specific branch of dentistry. For example an Orthodontist (MDS) is only qualified person to perform braces treatment, similarly an Endodontist (MDS) is a root canal treatment specialist & so on.
To maintain good oral hygiene you should brush your teeth at least twice a day for two minutes each time with soft-bristled brush and fluoride toothpaste. Use mouthwash to remove food particles left after brushing and flossing. Eat a healthy diet and limit sugary food and drinks. Replace your toothbrush every three to four months or sooner if bristles are splayed or worn. Schedule regular dental checkups and cleanings. Avoid bad habits like tobacco chewing/ smoking.
